My Updates
Triathlete with Diabetes
Wednesday 27th MarHey there, I'm Eleonora, I was born in 1995 in Turin, Italy. I have a degree in molecular biotechnology and a master's in oncology. I've worked in cancer hospitals and pharma companies such J&J. These days, I'm a consultant engineer in Computerized System validation in life sciences in the Netherlands. During my free time, I read books and follow courses in Sport and Nutrition. I'm passionate about life in all its small moments, changes, and challenges. But what really lights my fire is sports. I've tried my hand at all sorts - tennis, boxing, spinning, climbing, biking, swimming, running, you name it. My closet's a treasure trove of gear for every activity. Lastly, but certainly not least, I've had type 1 diabetes since I was three. I can't remember life without it, but I've turned diabetes into a strength, a unique part of me that sets me apart. Right now, my big focus is on preparing for triathlons, sprint and Olympic distances coming up in June 2022 and a Half Ironman and with a Half Marathon in 2023. These events give me that extra push to invest in myself.
